Come meet Annie Mardiney, and about a dozen of the birds she has rescued on June 26th at 11am!
Wild Mountain Birds, Annie’s organization, does wild bird rescue, rehabilitation and educational programs. Based in New York’s Hudson Valley, late spring and summer are busy for a wildlife rehabilitator: incubating Carolina Wren eggs the size of a penny, abandoned week old ducklings, the hawks, merlins, woodpeckers and owls who break a wing and cannot sustain themselves in the wild without intervention… and those who can never be released whom she shelters.
Ever wonder who do you call when you see a bird that’s injured? An hour of discovery for anyone curious about the natural world.
- Event is held on June 26th at 11am via Zoom.
- Free for adults age 60+
